The service, our food and the cocktail drinks were exceptional. We will be returning. I loved everything about this place!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Milwaukee, and I love that there is a sit down restaurant now. The restaurant is beautifully and colorfully decorated and truly matches the vibe. My husband and I wanted to go on a Friday night and we got there a little early. We were a little worried that they weren't going to have availability but luckily there was a table available! Our server ran through the delicious sounding specials, everything sounded so good and I only wish I could've had it all! We ordered the Hand Stretched Burrata, Royal Eggs, and Steamed Mussels for starters. We really should've stopped there since that was plenty, but I guess we wanted to make sure we had leftovers! We ordered the Where's the beet and Braised Short Rib Mac & Cheese for our entrees. Everything was delicious and I'm glad we had leftovers to enjoy the next day! I love that everything is locally sourced, I think it makes it tasted better! The cucumber dill sauce that came with my fries was so good! I certainly would recommend this over and over again, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu! The cocktails are fantastic and they have something for everyone! The creative flavors and decor is the cherry on top!

Hit another farm to table resturant! Saw my friend's farm on the menu. We had a reservation at 6:45 on a Friday. You absolutely need one. It requires a deposit. They charge the deposit right away. The bill is the total minus the deposit The table wasn't quite ready. The host is Very friendly and likes the words perfect and beautiful. There's a couple stools at the bar to wait at but it feels crapped. There's a lot of foot traffic around there. We got seated in the pink room over so we didn't have to hear the bell each time a drink was done. The other room was still pretty loud. There wasn't music but there was many tables and close together. I couldn't hear people at my table. The lights were a rather warm for my eyes. Everything was yellow. The crustini was great but I wish they gave us mini plates. The mushroom risotto was amazing. Fresh flavors with more complexity than tradition. It was not the same bite each time. The polenta was also great. The shrimp was very impressive. There was a ton of components that seemed to work no matter how many or little pieces you had in one bite. Make sure to mix the sauce into the polenta without. Otherwise that may taste plain. The pork bbq. The waiter was okay. It weirdly got cold for a bit.

My sister and I checked out Heirloom over the holidays after hearing good reviews and it did not disappoint! We started with the buratta and roasted garlic crostini. The buratta was so fresh and I loved how it changes seasonally. The pomegranate seeds were a great addition with a fresh vinaigrette on the salad. For entrees, we ordered the halibut and super spicy hot dipped chicken sandwich. Typically we're a bit wearing ordering some seafood in Milwaukee since we're from New England and haven't had good experiences elsewhere, but the Halibut here was perfectly cooked and very fresh. The potato crab hash was amazing too. Our waiter, Josh, recommended I get the hot dipped chicken sandwich super spicy if I liked hot foods and I'm so glad I did. We laughed when he said some people can't handle it but I didn't find it overpowering at all. I recommend reservations but there also was some room for walk ins. And a shout out to Josh our waiter for the food and drink recommendations, great conversations all night and making us laugh while we celebrated the holidays! We'll definitely be back

If you take anything from this review let it be this: get the burrata! I stopped in for a dinner with friends during my visit to Milwaukee and everyone was so satisfied. Started with the cheese curds & the burrata. We got their seasonal option which included a citrus salad that paired so well. I opted for the short rib mac and cheese and had enough for 3 full meals, that's how big the portion was. Others at the table ordered the risotto (a favorite amongst the group), the half chicken and the halibut. We also ended dinner with the pound cake which was incredible. All in all great dining experience at the cutest, coziest spot nestled away in Bayview.

Heirloom is such a cute restaurant. The staff our entire meal was extremely welcoming and nice. We tried the seasonal burrata and oh my goodness I think it might be my favorite appetizer I have ever had. The mixture of seasonal spices and creamy from the actual Burrata was perfect. Both of our entrees were oaky but that might have been an ordering error on our part. Heirloom would be great for a girls night dinner!

My second visit and let me just say, they've done it again! At my first visit I was wowed by their cocktails and risotto. At this visit I have to give major props for the Burrata (was out last time) and the pound cake dessert! I am a huge fan of burrata but this one may take the prize for best ever-- that citrus salad that accompanied it was perfect and the bread was perfectly toasted! The pound cake was massive (we split it between 6 people!) and so good, almost like French toast for dessert! I got the risotto once again for dinner and it did not disappoint! Partner the great food with the cute ambiance and good service and I certainly will be coming back!

So happy to have been able to celebrate with Yelp Milwaukees #1 Top place to eat tonight! A really quaint and welcoming feel- nice bar area and comfy chairs. Love the decor- especially the UFO wallpaper.... Super cute! On top of all that loveliness- the food is outstanding. Royal Eggs, crab cakes and sliders are amazing well crafted dishes. We loved each one with their ingredients and sauces that really just tickled our palates. Polenta with grilled shrimp- yum! Homemade burrata- get out of here! I almost forgot their drinks- their specialty drink of the night was delish... and so yummy that I didn't even take a pic of it. Jess and Pete and their whole staff were amazing. Thank you and we look forward to another dinner here very soon... making our rezzie before we even leave for the evening.

We really enjoyed all of the food they served up from their food truck. We especially loved their fried chicken sandwich and the Banh Mi is out of their world delicious! It goes without saying we were excited to try out their restaurant. They have a really cute spot in Bayview, with patio seating available curbside on both sides of the restaurant. The service was impeccable, we had some very friendly and helpful bartenders and waitresses who were on top of everything. On this visit we tried the Eggplant Stack - the presentation was beautiful however it didn't have much flavor, and the eggplant wasn't cooked and was quite hard to chew. The waitress and manager both apologized and offered to take it off or replace with something else. Again, wonderful service. We also tried the braised short rib mac & cheese, and that was phenomenal! The short rib was absolutely tender and super flavorful, and it was a huge dish that we shared and were full after! We did save room for dessert and tried the lemon marscapone - was very creamy and was the perfect end to our meal. We had a lovely time here and will definitely come back to try some of the other interesting options on the menu.

Finally got to try Heirloom after hearing so many great things about this food truck-turned-official establishment. Was intrigued by this spot because they seem to locally source many of their ingredients and their menu definitely reflects that. Many of the dishes on the menu seem to contain a variety of fresh, farm-to-table elements. Was immediately captivated by the colorful pastel walls upon entering the space. The interior is eclectic and so gorgeous! Love that they weren't afraid of utilizing color and fun artwork when designing the space. We were warmly greeted by the host when we arrived. Staff were so accommodating and friendly, especially when we requested to be moved to a larger table because we unexpectedly had another guest coming to join us for dinner. What we got: - Hand-stretch burrata: A lovely, shareable app with beautiful presentation. The toasted french bread slices served on the slide were perfectly buttered. This wasn't marketed on the menu but this app essentially came with a side salad, upon which the burrata was delicately sitting on top of. Cheese and bread -- hard to go wrong with this combo. - Royal eggs: Essentially your standard deviled eggs, but coated in a panko crust, which was interesting. This was solid. Also very shareable and yummy. - Braised beef short rib: This was a short rib served on top of a "roasted jalapeno masa cake," which was a very mild-tasting corn pancake. Short rib was tender but wish there was a bit more flavor to the meat, especially since the masa cake didn't lend much in terms of flavor. Would perhaps pass on this dish and try for the short rib mac & cheese instead. Overall, love the environment, friendly staff, and the unique, thoughtfully crafted dishes on the menu. Def will be back to try more from Heirloom. 10/10 would recommend.
